It preserves your recorded string point to point, without smoothing the data to make a preferred result look stronger than it is. You decide what the evidence means using current manufacturer-published data and your own safe procedures.

MyBench started as a spreadsheet that got out of hand. Then a second spreadsheet for chrono data that didn’t talk to the first one. Then a shoebox of ammo with charge weights in Sharpie on masking tape, because the notebook was in the truck.
The problem was never tracking one build — it’s tracking the hundredth one, and still being able to find the eleventh. So MyBench treats a batch of ammo as one connected record: what it was built from, what it cost, what it chronographed at, and what it shot. You look a load up once, by name or by group size, and everything attached to it comes with it.
